Blood donation camp to be setup at KCCI tomorrow

KARACHI: The management of Afzaal Memorial Thalassemia Foundation (AMTF) would set up a ‘Blood Donation Camp’ at Majeed Bawany Auditorium of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) tomorrow.
According to details, a medical team from Dr Essa Laboratory will also be available at the chamber to provide free sugar and bone mineral density tests along with free dental checkups.
KCCI President Shamim Ahmed Firpo has requested all members to come forward and support AMTF’s team by donating blood in order to share the sufferings of the patients and their families. He also advised the members to benefit from free sugar and bone mineral density tests facility which would be established by Dr Essa Laboratory.
Firpo appreciated various initiatives undertaken by AMTF and Dr Essa Laboratory to provide high-quality healthcare services to patients. He extended full support and cooperation to AMTF and Dr Essa Laboratory so they could further strengthen their positions in the health sector.
He noted that AMTF is operating with a vision to deliver utmost level of passionate care and create mass awareness about childhood blood diseases whereas Dr Essa Laboratory works under the mission to continuously provide services for the community with care and work hard to maintain standards of laboratory science.
“We fully appreciate and support the commitment of both the healthcare organizations and would like to extend full support to them in all their future endeavors”, he added.
