ISLAMABAD: The murder case of Taimur Riaz, who was shot
dead by police, wil
l be investigated by the homicide unit of the police.
The case was sent to police investigation wing. The woman who was present with Taimur at the time of the incident is also part of the investigation.
According to sources, the a
ccused policeman, Samiullah, went
to the police station to deposit his weapon, saying he would return in
some time. However, he fled the site and never returned.
Seven teams have been formed to arrest the a
ccused policemen and his fellow personnel.
