ctor General of Police (Operations) Dr Haider Ashraf Sunday suspended four
police officials, including two station house officers (SHOs), over poor performance and negligence.
According to details, the DIG (Operations) made surprised visits to d
ifferent
police stations and found most of the
policemen absent at the North Cantt and Shaman
police stations. Dr Haider Ashraf suspended moharar of North Cantt Police station for poor performance.
The DIG also visited d
ifferent churches and observed security measures there.
He suspended North Cantt SHO and Nulakha SHO over absenteeism. The DIG also issued explanation letters to Saddar Division SP Rizwan Umer Gondal and Civil Lines Division SP Ali Raza.
He said that strict action would be taken against those officials who were not perfuming t
heir duties properly.
