LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will leave for the United States on January 25 to meet the senior
US officials and discuss Pakistan-US
relations with them.
His father and former President Asif Ali Zardari is set to leave on January 17 too for the US.
According to details, Bilawal will leave after the Lahore-Faisalabad rally of the party scheduled on January 19, while Zardari will leave earlier.
PPP sources said that Bilawal is expected to leave on January 25. They
told that Bilawal is scheduled to meet senior
US officials. The father and son will meet the outgoing and incoming administration in the US. They will meet various US senators, congressmen and other people.
The party said that the agenda beh
ind Bilawal’s meeting would be the improvement o
f Pak-US ties. The entire schedules for Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have been set for one week in the US.
